McCoys Drop 7-3 Decision To Wentworth

Dundas returned to the ice J.L. Grightmire Arena ice on Friday night looking to make it two wins in a row, however a well rested Wentworth Gryphins had other ideas. The visitors netted six goals in the second on their way to a victory over the hometown McCoys 7-3. Three different McCoys would score in the loss.
Wentworth opened the scoring in the second before Nolan Sheeran evened it at one at the 6:54 mark. From there, it was all Gryphins who scored five times over the remainder of the middle stanza.
The Real McCoys attempted to get back into the game in the third, getting goals from Nathan Longpre and Cameron Hatziioannou, but they were unable to get any more pucks past the Wentworth netminder.
Brett Leggat took the loss, allowing seven goals on 37 shots in the contest.
Dundas will be back in action on Saturday night for a road game against the Stoney Creek Tigers starting at 6:30pm. Then the McCoys will head around the corner to take on the Gryphins and look to steal a win on their home ice on Thursday January 22nd starting at 7:30pm.
