McCoys Make It Two In A Row

A night after getting their first win of the season, the Real McCoys made their first trip to St. Catharines and ruined the Saints home opener by doubling them up 6-3. Six different McCoys would score and four finishing the night with multiple points, led by Mackenzie Wood who had five points.

Cam Fergus and Paul Cianfini each had a power player goal in the contest while Ralph Taggart and Wood scores shorthanded markers in the third. Holden Doggett and Jess Hackett scored in the middle stanza with the latter’s being the game winner.

Doggett ended the game with three points (G, 2A), while Cianfini and Fergus each added an assist to the goal they had on Saturday night.

Ryan DeMelo picked up his second win of the weekend, stopping 35 shots on net, bringing his record to 2-1 on the season.

The next game for your Real McCoys is Friday November 21^st when the Saints make their first visit to the J.L. Grightmire Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30pm.
