McCoys To Host First Responders Night

Dundas' community is filled with heroes — and many of them don't wear capes. Many wear fire, police, and paramedic uniforms instead. On Friday, February 27th, for their final regular season home game, the McCoys will honour these heroes during First Responders Night at the J.L. Grightmire Arena, with the St. Catharines Saints serving as the evening's opponents.
"The Real McCoys consider it an honour to salute the incredible work of all emergency workers in our league and in our area," said Don Robertson, the team's general manager. "We thank them all."
The night will feature a ceremonial puck drop with representatives from Hamilton EMS, Fire, and Police, and mascots from each of the emergency services will be on hand to meet young fans.
Tickets are available on game day, roughly an hour before puck drop, with children under 13 admitted free of charge. For more ticket information, click here.
Before hosting First Responders Night, the McCoys will look to rebound from their Family Day loss when they travel to Harry Howell Arena on Thursday night to face the Wentworth Gryphins at 7:30 p.m.
